What Makes Our Pick-Your-Own Different?

Many flower farms offer a u-pick experience.

Others offer a Bloom Bar.

We decided there was no reason you should have to choose.

When you visit Cassell Hollow Farm, you’ll have access to both.

Start your evening by wandering through our Rainbow Row, where you’ll cut mystery dahlias directly from approximately 300 colorful plants.

Then head over to our Bloom Bar, where you’ll find buckets absolutely overflowing with dahlias harvested fresh that day from our production fields, along with seasonal flowers and foliage grown right here on the farm.

You’ll even find many of our premium varieties, including favorites like Cafe au Lait.

The best part?

There is no additional charge to choose premium blooms from the Bloom Bar.

Whether every flower comes from the Rainbow Row, from the Bloom Bar, or you create the perfect mix of both, the price is exactly the same.

Fill your container with whatever blooms make you smile.

Meet the Rainbow Row

The Rainbow Row is one of the most unique parts of our farm.

It began after one very excited little helper (our son, Emmons) accidentally sent a cart full of labeled dahlia tubers racing down a hill. The tubers and their labels went flying in every direction. Instead of trying to sort out hundreds of mystery tubers, we planted them together.

Today, that happy accident has become one of our favorite traditions.

It’s the only place on our farm where visitors are invited to cut flowers directly from the plants, making every visit a colorful treasure hunt.

MEET
YOUR
FARMERS

We are the Cassellius family. We craft premium personal care products from hazelnuts grown on our Wisconsin farm. Along with product development and production, we also breed and sell exclusive hazelnut genetics with the goal of supporting the establishment of 100 new orchards on farms across the Midwest.

Our small farm is a demonstration site for CPG developers and hazelnut growers where we showcase conservation methods that promote sustainable personal care products as well as responsible farming practices that will keep our soil healthy for generations.

While running the hazelnut business, we also operate a cut flower farm by filling the alleys between our young hazelnut plants with beautiful dahlias. This is another example of potential farm products that are not found in the grocery store aisles.
