REASON ONE : Moisturization

Hazelnut oil is an excellent natural moisturizer, rich in essential fatty acids that can help hydrate and nourish the skin. Applying hazelnut oil to your tattooed skin can prevent dryness and keep the area moisturized, which is crucial during the healing process and for preserving the vibrancy of the tattoo over time.

REASON TWO : Lightweight & non-comedogenic

Hazelnut oil is a lightweight oil that is easily absorbed by the skin without leaving a greasy residue. It is also non-comedogenic, making it suitable for all skin types, including sensitive or acne-prone skin. This property ensures that the oil can penetrate deeply into the skin without clogging pores or causing breakouts, aiding in the healing and maintenance of your tattoo.

REASON THREE : Soothing & anti-inflammatory

Hazelnut oil has soothing and anti-inflammatory properties that can help calm irritated or inflamed skin. Applying hazelnut oil to a new tattoo can reduce redness, swelling, and discomfort, promoting a faster and more comfortable healing process.

REASON FOUR : Antioxidant benefits

Hazelnut oil is rich in antioxidants, such as vitamin E, which can help protect the skin from the effects of free radicals and environmental damage. By using hazelnut oil on your tattoo, you can shield the inked area from premature fading due to sun exposure, pollution, or other external factors.

REASON FIVE : Promotes skin regeneration

Hazelnut oil contains nutrients that support skin regeneration and repair. By regularly using hazelnut oil on your tattooed skin, you can help maintain the integrity of the skin barrier, aiding in the long-term preservation of the tattoo's colors and details.

REASON SIX : Reduces itching and irritation

Hazelnut oil has soothing properties that can help alleviate itching and irritation commonly experienced during the healing process of a new tattoo. By gently massaging hazelnut oil onto the tattooed area, you can provide relief from discomfort, allowing the skin to heal more comfortably. The anti-inflammatory effects of hazelnut oil can also help reduce redness and sensitivity, promoting a smoother recovery for your tattoo.

WE RECOMMEND APPLYING HAZELNUT OIL TO YOUR TATTOO BOTH MORNING AND NIGHT!

meet the FARMERs

Hello! We are Graham, Jen, and Emmons. The Cassellius family! We own and operate Cassell Hollow Farm in La Farge, Wisconsin. We bought the farm in 2015 and leaned into the work that had already been established by previous owners. Cassell Hollow Farm is currently home to roughly 3,000 Midwest hazelnut bushes. As we work to develop Midwest hazelnut based self care products, we are also developing farm-scale harvesting and processing equipment.

"Placed another order! Love it for my face and hair. First winter without dry skin! I have sensitive skin and can't use a lot of moisturizers but had no reaction to the hazelnut oil. Also used on a scar from cancer removal. Love it and now I need more!
